This would be rapé in its simplest form, and a medicinal rapé would also contain herbs determined by the rapé’s desired healing effects.
The Tobacco and ash are a medicine in themselves and can create a strong purgative effect for those that are not used to taking it. To make an even stronger medicine though, the dried foliage of shrubs and trees are added. Each additional ingredient considered for their medicinal and magic powers: for example, certain plants are known to remove headaches, ease muscular pains, or even imbue the concentration.

Some plant allies were added to connect to the spirit world and speak with your ancestors and even to internalise your own being.
There are more than 30 different species of medicinal plants used to give medicinal/spiritual characteristics to each rapé.

Depending on which Paje made the rapé, which ash and which herbs was selected, the rapé would take on a particular character which is intended to shaped for its intended purpose. This sacred preparation is a process that may take up to weeks. Usually, the chief of the tribe – the Pajero – works under a strict diet and in a trance-state when endlessly pounding and mixing the Rapé ingredients together. The other members of the tribe are responsible for the collection of the ingredients. The plants will either be sun dried or roasted over a low fire, the result is sieved through the finest cloth, and the remains ground up again until finally a very fine, smooth dust is obtained[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Can I Expect During and After using Rape?”]Rapé is not sniffed, snorted or inhaled. Instead, it is administered (blown) into each nostril, first through the left nostril, which symbolizes death. Afterwards, Rapé is applied to the right side, which represents rebirth.

This is done with a special blowpipe made from bamboo or bone, called “Kuripe” (self administration) or “Tepi” (another person administers).

This “blow” is quite forceful and not specifically pleasant. It can be rather shocking. After the experience, it is best to remain with the eyes closed, while both inhaling and exhaling slowly through the mouth.

Administering rapè involves an intimate connection between the Rapé giver and receiver – who are closely connected by mouth, nose and by breath, both need to be open, allow the other spirit and intention to enter which permits the healing to take place.

The person blowing will be sending an intention and spirit to the person receiving so the essence of this blowing ritual does not depend on the strength of the blow, but whether you can both share yourselves empowering the receiver.

These ‘blowing rituals’ are of great importance in the shamanic tradition, revealing the healing energy of breath (also known as ‘Soplada’ – which means blowing healing energy) as a major tool for healing

This medicine immediately focuses the mind, stops the chattering, and opens the entire freed mindspace for your intentions helping release emotional, physical, and spiritual illnesses and eases negativity and confusion.

You can use the Rapé as a tool to transform intentions and it also cuts through whatever mental or emotional field you are in. The initial experience and the strong sensation lasts for a few minutes, while the newly gained state remains for a very long time.

You may experience symptoms of excess saliva, watery eyes, running nose, tingling sensations throughout the body, lightheadedness or shortness of breathe – theses effects will subside quickly leading you into a grounded and tranquil state of being making you feel aligned and prepared for ceremony.

Rarely, if the vessel is too congested with toxins or energies, vomiting can be a side effect that leads to a thorough cleansing.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is Rapé Used For?”]The main purpose of each rapé can be considered general (fortifying), medicinal (healing), inebriating (uplifting) and opening (spiritual). These ingredients have been skilfully combined to create a relaxed, meditative state.

South American shamans use tobacco as a sacred, wholesome medicine. Indigenous tribes use tobacco in ceremonies, to predict good weather, fishing, or harvest, and for spiritual (e.g. vision quest, trance etc) and curing purposes, but rarely for smoking. The use of tobacco by indigenous tribes is profoundly entrenched in their culture, and has been around since the Mayan civilisation for ritual, medicinal and recreational purposes.

Shamans use Rapé to re-align with their energy channels and with their higher self, and to intensify their connection with the world and the universe.

Sananga is wildcrafted and prepared from the roots of the Tabernaemontana undulata shrub. The bark of the root of this shrub is first ground to a very fine powder that is strained various times through a cotton mesh and finally, it is extracted into a juice.

Traditionally Sananga is used before hunting as it increases your long-range vision, which is important for the perceptionheightening your ability to see and perceive thus it increases your internal vision which is important for visualizations, predictions of the future and long term goals.

The pure spirit of Sananga supports a deep cleansing of blocked energies on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. Sananga can balance and increase your energies, find the roots of your diseases and blockages, expand your spiritual vision and awareness enhancing your ability to read other peoples intention and gain a complete equilibrium, focus, and peace of mind.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Can I Expect During and After using Sananga?”]Lying down comfortably, Sananga is applied in the eyes, the eyes are held open, and one drop is placed in the centre of each eye. The eyes are then closed and the process of purification begins. Thereafter, you should blink with your eyelids for a short while to distribute the liquid over the whole eye. Shortly after the application to the eyes, most users report a strong burning and intense prickly pain sensation. Yet, these effects reside after a few minutes, and can be alleviated by focusing on your breathing and by visualizing how the pain removes your blocked energies and brings deep healing. It is said that the more the Sananga stings, the weaker the physical and spiritual vision of the person. In time and with frequent use this stinging gives way to a pleasant experience of just a few minutes.

Effects can be overwhelming and painful, yet they will pass in minutes. These eye drops have a healing power which works more energetic than physical, with the capacity to increase spiritual insight in the minds of those who use it.

Uncommon but also it is also possible to experience vomiting and bowel movements, which are further indications for the removal of blocked energies and illness.

Try to surrender fully and relax as much as possible.

The acute effects will wear off after 10-15 min, yet subtle after effects can last for days.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Is Sananga Used For?”]

These frogs reside in parts of Brazil, Peru, and Venezuela. Kambo enters the body through small burns called ‘gates’ on the surface of the skin. Gates are placed on different areas of the body depending on the type of treatment. The frog secretion is then formed into tiny balls and placed on the gates. The medicine enters the lymphatic system and quickly initiates a series ofsensations. The body reacts to the medicine in a variety of ways that can include increased heart rate, swelling in the face, hands, and throat, temperature fluctuations, flushing, pounding sensations in the head, cramping, and nausea.

Kambo is NOT psychoactive so does not produce hallucinations, but it can produce a short altered state of reality in some people and many receive insights and messages about living a healthier life. At this point, the medicine is coaxing out physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual toxins so they can be released. Participants release them through vomiting, bowel movements, sweating, crying, and/or shaking. Purging can take place one or more times in a session and after the initial water is released we see purges in shades of green, yellow, blue, black, brown, and red, meaning that something significant has come out. The points are taken off the gates within 20 to 40 minutes and participants have the space to lay down and rest.

People generally feel very relaxed directly after kambo. It is best to avoid stressful activities for the rest of the day and day after the session. You may still experience waves of emotional and spiritual releasing the days following the ceremony. After effects may include a feeling of deep calm, heightened senses, a feeling of well-being and positivity, increased energy, quick reflexes, mental and emotional clarity, and high levels of motivation.

Kambo is a hunting medicine, so post-ceremony is an excellent time to gain clarity on what one is hunting. Because there may have been a belief system cleanse, it can feel easier to hunt your heart’s passions with confidence. Participants can take advantage of these effects by clearing clutter, letting go of negative habits, establishing healthy lifestyle changes, making leaps of faith, and
embracing challenges fearlessly.

Immediate and short term effects include enhanced mood, alertness, clarity, focus, energy and increased resistance to stress, tiredness, hunger and thirst. The mind becomes still, you feel lighter and everything becomes easier to manage. In the
longer term, Kambo empowers the immune system, rousing the body’s defence systems to their natural functions so that existing health problems are improved or resolved and future ones are less likely to occur. In spiritual terms, Kambo works in a mystical fashion as a light that opens the way, helping us to overcome obstacles and release blockages on an emotional level. It clears our energy field and realigns the chakras enabling us to break negative habits and live and think more naturally[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Who Should Use Kambo”]Kambo in its original, natural form is a holistic treatment that works on the mind, body, energy and spirit at all levels in ways that we don’t completely understand yet.

The native peoples of the Amazon are quite right to use the word ‘magic’ when describing this substance.

The popularity and use of Kambo as a natural medicine is spreading worldwide, however there are some conditions for which Kambo is contraindicated,

including: People who:

  • Have serious heart problems.
  • Are on medication for low blood pressure.
  • Have had a stroke.
  • Have had a brain haemorrhage.
  • Have an aneurism or blood clots.
  • Lack the mental capacity to make the decision to take Kambo.
  • Have serious mental health problems excluding depression, PTSD and anxiety.
  • Are undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy  or for 4 weeks afterwards.
  • Take immune-suppressants for organ transplant.
  • Have Addison’s Disease
  • Have current and severe Epilepsy
  • Are recovering from a major surgical procedure
  • Are under 18 years old
  • Are pregnant or maybe so or are breast-feeding a child under 6 months old
[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Is Kambo Used For?”]Kambo is one of the strongest natural anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, antimicrobial and anaesthetic substances found in the world and one of the strongest, natural ways to strengthen the immune system.

It also detoxes the liver and the intestines so it’s a powerful cleanser.

The use of Kambo differs amongst tribes but the main indigenous uses revolve around lifting Panema – an indigenous name for dark or negative energy and for Hunting Magic – they believe it their speed and energy during hunting and that it makes the hunter invisible by temporarily eliminating their human odour.

There are many ways they use it medicinally too, including: malaria, snake bites, fevers, infections, fertility problems, to cleanse, detox and strengthen the mind and body, to increase energy and stamina and to reduce pain.

Outside of the forest, Kambo has been the subject of nearly three decades of medical research. As with venoms from snakes and scorpions, researchers believe that Kambo will open up a new world of treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Cancer, HIV, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s, Depression, Vascular problems, Hepatitis, Diabetes, Rheumatism, Arthritis, Addictions and much, much more.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is Kambo Safe?”]Kambo is 100% safe in the right hands. It’s true that there have been accidents in the past and that people have died, but the number is very small and the circumstances of these deaths have shown that Kambo should not have been given as a result of their pre-existing health conditions. This applies to all medicines, natural or pharmaceutical, there are always contraindications.

Not only is it important for the person giving Kambo to understand these contraindications but it is also important for people taking Kambo to disclose all there health issues to the practitioner. In this way, we can ensure that no more mistakes happen. Kambo is not for everyone.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Happens During a Kambo Treatment?”]Kambo is intense but fast. The unpleasant effects are strong and immediate but over
within 30 – 40 minutes. The dried Kambo is mixed with a small amount of water and divided into small dots.
Then, small points called ‘gates’ are placed into the surface of the skin. The points are approximately 1/8” across but can be smaller or slightly larger depending on the treatment. The top thin layer of skin is blistered with a hot stick and the skin is peeled off to expose the epidermis underneath – this is similar to when you have a blister and the skin rubs off. There is no blood. The number and position of the points varies from person to person depending on individual needs. If you have a series of
treatments in the same session, the same points are reused. The small dots of Kambo are applied to the points. This is the only way to take Kambo – it is not safe to ingest it, snort it or to introduce it into the blood stream directly.

The Kambo enters directly into the Lymphatic System so the effect is very fast. Most people experience a warm to hot flush on the upper body and face along with increased heart rate. At this point, different people will react in different ways. Some will feel dizzy, foggy or spaced out; the occasional person will shake or even faint. Some people have swollen lips or face and slight skin tingling.

The Kambo will be racing around your body, scanning it for problems and then going directly to work on those areas. You may experience a throbbing or burning sensation in those areas for a short while. Some people may feel some abdominal
discomfort and need to defecate.Once the Kambo has cleaned the body you will purge all the toxins out. This purging
process works on a physical and emotional level. You may feel tired at this point and need to rest. Within a short time – usually an hour or so you will feel much better and you can drink and eat normally.Within a day or so, depending on your state of health, you will start to feel the real benefits.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Will I Get Permanent Scarring?”]The burn marks will heal and fade with time but depending on your skin colour and type you may always have small visible scars. Most people see their Kambo scars as a badge of honour.

The same points can be reused after 2- 3 months. After the dots of Kambo are removed, the points are dressed with a natural tree sap called dragons blood. This helps them to heal faster and ensures they stay free from infection until they scab naturally.[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”BUFO ALVARIUS” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center|color:%23000000″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”col-md-6 offset-md-3 col-sm-12 bg-solid mb-4″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Is a semi-aquatic amphibian that lives in the Sonoran desert of Mexico. Bufo alvarius Toads have large parotid glands that secrete a viscous, milky-colored substance which is caught on a piece of glass and left to dry into a crystal-type form which can be smoked.

The toads are only captured in order to obtain this substance then the toads are then set free back into nature. It is this venom that contains psychoactive alkaloids. The psychoactive effects of the secretions of different varieties of toads have been known for centuries.

Bufo alvarius is a semi-aquatic amphibian that lives in the Sonoran desert of Mexico. Their cutaneous glands contain more than a dozen tryptamine compounds, including bufotenin and 5-MeO-DMT (5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine), but do not contain DMT (N,N-Dimethyltryptamine), the active principle present in ayahuasca. Bufotenin and 5-MeO-DMT are two powerful psychedelic substances.

The Bufo alvarius toad, whose correct name is Incilius alvarius, is native to the American continent. It can be found in the southern part of the Arizona desert in the USA and throughout most of the Sonoran desert in Mexico, even reaching

Guamúchil, Sinaloa. It’s also known as the Colorado River toad, because it inhabits the areas surrounding this river in lower California, New Mexico, Mexico and southern Arizona.

It is found mostly in the lower parts of the Sonoran desert, at altitudes ranging from sea level to 1600m. In addition to the desert, Bufo alvarius inhabits pastures and oak forests, where it hides in rodent burrows.

As a nocturnal toad, during most of the months from September to April it stays underground in a state of hibernation. During the breeding season, which coincides with the rainy season, it becomes very active, especially at night, and hundreds of toads roam the desert.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Happens During a Bufo Alvarius Ceremony?”]We will hold the pipe with the medicine in front of your mouth so you only have to inhale the vapor. Inhale slowly, long and deep, around 10-14 seconds or unless we tell you to stop.

Try to keep the smoke inside your lungs for as long as possible. This will help the medicine to enter your bloodstream. The medicine will start to work within 10 seconds. Don’t fight it, just relax and let the feeling wash you away.

When smoked/vaporized, 5-MeO-DMT presents immediate and short effects, usually less than 20 minutes in duration, maximum one hour.

Effects come on strong, often with a loss of physical coordination and control. Users experience bright colours, moving environments, or recursive patterns, and perhaps even “environmental orbism”

The experience is more often described as a “perspective shift” characterised by physical, emotional, and conceptual effects.

One of the most common features of the experience is an enhancement of tactile awareness to the point of sensory overload. The body

may also feel heavier. Intense emotions are typical, ranging from extreme fear to euphoria, and especially include anxiety or excitement during onset.

It’s common to experience an overwhelming sense of oneness with the universe, or a sense of being outside of time and space while seeming to experience the totality of both.

The concept of the ego as a separate entity is typically lost. Other effects include auditory hallucinations, time distortion, nausea, and memory loss.

The maximum effects begin in less than 1 minute and last for about 5-15 minutes. Users often describe the appearance and plateau of the effects as extremely intense. Afterwards the effects disappear quickly, after about 5-15 minutes, although

most people feel residual effects for up to an hour after having smoked the substance.

Bufo’s experience is usually very immersive, and produces an extreme variation in perception. Many people describe sensations of cosmic unity, of access to non-dual consciousness and deep spiritual experiences.

Feeling unity and absolute identification with Universal consciousness. Understanding vibration, seeing pure light sacred geometry, beauty, deep levels of peace and oneness.

Some people have compared it to the experience of dying and accessing states similar to those described in Buddhist and Hindu traditions such as Nirvana or Tathāgata, beyond the beyond. The loss of a sense of identity and dissolution of the ego is common, as well as oceanic sensations of merging with everything.

During the psychoactive periods, there can be bouts of vomiting and muscle tremors. You may shake and move around uncontrollably. Some users say they moved from one area of the room to another, but do not remember moving. This loss of memory is called a “white-out” and may decrease your ability to form memories of the experience in the short term.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Can I Expect After a Session?”]Be aware that the experience with Bufo Alvarius secretion is intense and produces rapid dissolution of your ego which might be traumatic in some cases. This medicine is also not a panacea and the hard work starts after the ceremony.

In the following days, weeks or months you might experience a variety of psychological phenomena, which might not always be pleasant.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Flashbacks and/or reactivations
• Intense release of emotions, either positive (happiness, joy) or negative (depressions, anxieties)
• Realisations of your maladaptive patterns of behaviour and the need to change various parts of your life.

This state is highly healing, balancing and integrating on the physical level. It is recommended to stand and touch the Earth with one’s feet. At the mental level, “new identity“ is put together again and in a better way upon return to conventional reality, many ideas, insights and topics start to surface after long waiting to be processed. The next 14 days is usually described as a period during which life changes surprisingly and a person is exposed to many dynamic processes, unexpected events and synchronicities.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Is Bufo Alvarius Used For?”]5-MEO-DMT belongs to dimethyltryptamines. Dimethyltryptamines are found naturally in the body and may affect conscious states such as your dreams, imagination, and creativity.

Being forced to let go of the ego is precisely what draws many people to a ceremony with Bufo. The dissolution experience can impart an understanding and acceptance of mortality that helps to overcome the fear of death.

It can also break attachments with past trauma, negative behaviors, and habitual negative thought patterns.

Bufo Alvarius is routinely used to alleviate depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction and potentially said to protect the brain, users have reported decrease inflammation and pain even after just one ceremony.

Researchers found a major down regulation of drug abuse. Furthermore, cells treated with 5-MeO-DMT showed an up-regulation of integrins, a response similar to that of depressed patients to antidepressant medications[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Cautions with Bufo Alvarius”]It shouldn’t be mixed with MAOIs or RIMAs, including some antidepressants – please discuss further with us before ceremony

It has been used in traditional ceremonies among the indigenous tribes for over 5000 years by the shamans, healers and teachers called ‘Ayahuasqueros’ for the expansion of consciousness (Soul)

It produces a deep action in the body, mind, emotions and spirit, allowing us to confront and conquer our deepest fears, revitalise life energies and awaken to a higher level of consciousness in order to open ourselves to our ‘inner teacher’ that will open a connection to the oneness and love that will last a lifetime.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Can I Expect During and After a Ceremony?”]Before drinking ayahuasca, the person is recommended to prepare mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually – keeping the mind free from prejudice and fears and welcome the medicine with an open heart.

It should be noted that each session is different for each person is different, and every place and life situations have an impact on the experience.

Normally First and second hours: one may feel uncomfortable sensations of dizziness, nausea, repressed fears and paranoia, Conflict resolution, peace and harmony.

Third and fourth hours: Deep reflection, thorough analysis and introspection. Since Ayahuasca is a sacred purifying plant it can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, sweating and other effects of purification, which is how the medicine heals, teaches and gives guidance, this is called purging.

Ayahuasca contains an intense psychedelic drug, and you will almost certainly not have a gentle experience. However, taken in the right context and with the right mindset, most people report the experience to be extremely meaningful.

Ayahuasca can help you view various painful aspects of your life, allowing you to see how they can be made better.

This experience may not be pleasant, but it almost always results in healing[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Happens During a Ayahuasca Ceremony ?”]The first effects of ayahuasca are physical changes, including burning sensations in the stomach, tingling sensations, changes in perception of body temperature and skin sensitivity, and mild nausea.

Hallucinations are typically intense and experienced suddenly. There is a degree of initial anxiety or fear, which normally fades deeper into the ceremony.
Visual hallucinations are experienced in most people and their intensity is dose-dependent, usually coming and going in waves. These effects ranged from increases in an object’s brightness and sharpness, or as vibrations in the visual field, to rapidly moving patterns, and scenes that were visible with eyes either closed or open, also changes in auditory perception, enhanced hearing; e.g. sounds becoming more clear and distinct.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What Is Ayahuasca Used For?”]Ayahuasca is used as a tool for enlightenment and spiritual growth, to gain a sense of connectedness and compassion within oneself and for others, giving us a higher vision of how to self heal.

This process causes a spiritual awakening that leads to long-term, stable perspective shifts.

This is likely a result of achieving a level of particularly intense introspection that leads to profound self-awareness and clarity regarding personal issues and belief systems.

Ayahuasca is healing tool for disorders like addiction, several mental illnesses and immune disorders that has a deep effect treating addictive behaviours.
Alcoholism, substance abuse, domestic violence, and other problem behaviours and lifestyles that cause dysfunctional behaviours can be virtually resolved after just on ceremony.

Depression, autism and schizophrenia can be addressed naturally without western medication focusing on the internal work to be free and live a happy, content life with the appropriate supportive settings that include talk therapy and social network support.

Regular and long-term ayahuasca use may aid in lasting lifestyle changes, most notably with respect to substance abuse and addiction.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is Ayahuasca Safe?”]
